Growing up, Bryan Empire lived in a very simple and quaint environment whenever his parents weren’t around. His older sister, Cynthia, often had to take care of him while his hippy parents constantly got into trouble with the law and were barely ever home. Cynthia didn’t enjoy having to baby sit her little brother and would often just allow him to roam around the house while she did what she wanted. Without anyone to bother him or set any rules, Bryan became a very independent person and took care of himself. Without any parental authority came plenty of freedom in the young boy but also wrong information. He was never properly taught the ways of life, patience, propriety, sex: the works. His sister was never much help either. She made all the wrong choices in life and ended up living at home with a baby in her belly at age fifteen and two dead end jobs. Bryan ended up doing whatever he wanted. He really got into the freedom of living in ones own skin at a very early age. His parents didn’t mind him running around naked at home. They actually thought it was healthy for him to embrace his inner spiritual freedom through the form of nudity and never told him it was wrong to do so in public.

When Bryan started school he would be forced into clothing as he cried and threw temper tantrums. Often times he would be sent home and the moment he was naked, felt normal again. His parents were too MIA to ever consider that he may have had a serious problem. As he grew older and entered middle school he became even more difficult. He was never in any advanced classes and sometimes “regular” ones either. Teachers would have clothing ready to attack him with and students would treat him terribly. He was known as the ‘crazy naked kid’ and never had any friends. His reputation carried him through high school which was also known as his hell years.

Being naked to Bryan was absolutely normal. No one understood that. People thought it was a desperate cry for attention. No one understood that he simply felt as though clothes were an unnecessary barrier that undermined a person’s inner being. Skin was the most beautiful thing through Bryan’s eyes. Skin was clothes. Clothing was ugly and disgusting, itchy and degrading. They covered natural beauty. He was never narcissistic. He only thought that every body was beautiful in its natural form just as they were intended to be by God. No one wanted to be seen with him in public. No one liked him or even looked at him, even when he went through the day wearing clothes (as he was forced to do every single day). Weekends were Heaven because he was able to stay locked up at home the way he wanted to.

Eventually, the school’s principal took action and called for help. After intense therapy that Bryan’s family could barely afford, he was taken to a nudist colony for a week. He felt so at home there and even began a relationship with a fellow nudist, Marina Williams. She was the yin to his yang, the perfect piece he had been searching for all his life. He became very attached to her and grew extremely close to her, more than was considered normal. After only a few days of knowing her, he thought they were in love. Love meant intimacy and intimacy meant sex. On his fifth night of being at the colony, he visited her and started trying to get close. His excitement scared her. It was way too soon for anything but Bryan didn’t understand that. He continuously attempted to get intimate and through her screams forced her to have sex with him. He forced her because he didn’t understand why she wouldn’t want to. It was evaluated as unintentional because he thought having a girlfriend meant lots of immediate closeness. He didn’t understand the stages of development. His nudism also made him want sex more often. The attention Marina gave him made him fall for her willingly without realizing it. She immediately filed a case of rape against him. When his therapist was noted of this, he took Bryan in again and instead of sending him to jail, diagnosed him with having Obsessive Nudism and thus a Histrionic Personality Disorder despite the fact that his nudity was not a scream for attention. Since he forced Marina into having sex with him he was also diagnosed with having Mild Paraphilias though he never showed any signs of other ‘kinky’ needs.

When having the choice between being sent to jail or an asylum, Bryan’s parents chose the latter (well, more like his sister did) and he went willingly, considering it a nice place to meet people and live more peacefully.

Bryan is considered one of the few, constantly happy people. He is fine with who he is and is very comfortable in his own skin – literally. Even as a child he was known to be very vibrant and the life of the party so to speak. His extreme love for relationships with people (friendly or romantically) makes him extremely hyperactive and cheeky to the point of slight annoyance. Not many people can stand him because of that and tend to push him away which only worsens his constant craving for attention. He is slightly innocent in the sense that he doesn’t understand why being how he is can be a turnoff. His misunderstanding of other people is a huge issue and a main reason for his lack of insecurities. Much doesn’t bother him only because he doesn’t interact with many serious emotions.

Bryan uses sarcasm as a main way to answer things and ultimately impress people he likes. Usually he just ends up making a fool out of himself. His sarcasm is only playful and enthusiastic, though, and not many people seem to get that. He can be loud, typically excited, but also a sweetheart deep down inside. He’s not mean, he’s not cruel, just… out there. The things he does and says feel normal to him so he doesn’t feel like he’s being anything negative. That’s also why he’s great for giving truthful advice. Most people would try to beat around the bush and make people feel good but Bryan doesn’t care. He would tell it like it is and if the person got mad he’d be confused; wasn’t that the answer they wanted?

The closest he gets to being dangerous is jealousy. When he clings on to people unusually and they become scared and push him away, he gets sad and craves to get their attention back any way he can. He becomes restless and stressed, and turns the whole situation into an unnecessary big deal. Envy also comes easily to him which makes having a relationship with him tricky.
